Later, they brought the cat to a veterinary hospital where on duty doctors pronounced it dead.

“I came to the police station to seek justice over my cat’s death. But the police first laughed at me. Later on my mother’s words they accepted the complaint. I want justice for killing cats.’

The girl’s father Md Kalam Miah also alleged that they had a long dispute over land with their neigbour Taslima. Her daughter also threatened in the morning that they would kill the cat.
